What time does school start? What time is dismissal?
Your child may wait in the gym in the mornings starting at 7:40 a.m. This is supervised time by a teacher's aide. It is not time for children to play. The teachers meet for devotions each morning until 8:00 a.m. Classroom doors open at 8:00 a.m. Class starts at 8:10 a.m. Grades K-3 dismiss at 3:10 p.m. Teachers are outside to supervise children until all children are picked up. Please have your child picked up no later than 3:40 p.m.
How many children are in my child's class?
We will have12 children in class this year. We have boys and girls.
Will my child have homework this year?
Your child will have homework a couple days a week unless otherwise noted on my homework sheet. Your child will have a homework folder that will come back and forth to school each day. On Friday your child will bring home a white envelope with his/her papers. Please empty the white envelope and send it back to school with your child on Monday.
What time is lunch? May I eat lunch with my child?
We eat lunch at 10:55 a.m. Lunch ends at 11:20 a.m. Your child will then head to recess. You are more than welcome to eat lunch with your child. Please notify myself or the office if you would like to join your child for lunch. If you forget to inform someone, come anyway, your child enjoys your company.
What time and days will students go to different classes?
Mrs. Howard will be the music teacher on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

When will my child be the Star Student?
I try to have your child be the Star Student around his/her birthday, but that does not always work out that way. Don't worry though, every child will be the Star Student some time throughout the year.
Can my child celebrate his/her birthday at school?
We love treats! Your child may bring a snack on his/her birthday, or the day before or after their birthday if it lands on a weekend. Please send plates, napkins, or other utensils that are necessary to enjoy the treat.
What day and time is chapel?
We will have chapel Wednesday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. We sit with our chapel buddies each week. You are more than welcome to join us for chapel.
What Time are Worship Services and Sunday School?
Worship services are offered on Saturday evenings at 6:00 p.m. Sunday worship services are at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School for children ages 2 - High School are offered from 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Adult Bible Study is also available during this time.
